We're trying something new with Office Hours at MAKE Roanoke! Designed to offer help using a specific tool or craft, Office Hours are open to the public to get hands-on assistance with your next project. Our first set of Office Hours will be for the Cricut on Tuesday, May 20 from 6-8 PM. We'll have several Cricuts available to cut out vinyl, fabric, leather, cardstock, and very thin balsa wood and people who can help bring your project to life. Members can also come to get tr

All three people running for Board in last month's board election got the required amount of votes to serve on MAKE Roanoke's Board! With 31 total votes cast, Matthew Brown, Will Carter, and and Chris Santacroce will serve on the MAKE Roanoke Board of Directors through May 2027.

MAKE Roanoke is heading to the Lynchburg Maker Faire on Sunday, March 30th, and we want YOU to be a part of it. We need community members to help staff our table and tell people about MAKE Roanoke as they come up to it. We'll train you on the engraving machine and other interactive exhibits we have.

MAKE Roanoke is excited to participate in the Daisy Art Parade again this year! We had so much fun with our Maker-Bot puppet last year, and have decided on a Maker Octopus theme for this year! We'll need your help in the planning and building of this large puppet, though!
