MAKE Roanoke Annual Meeting

MAKE Roanoke's Annual Meeting is April 23, 2026 at 6 PM! This event is just once a year and is our opportunity to share how the organization is doing and what our goals are for the next year with our membership and the community at large. This meeting is open to the public, and all MAKE Roanoke members are strongly encouraged to attend. This meeting is taking the place of our April Community Meeting.
Unlike our usual Community Meetings which focus on the month prior and ahead, the Annual Meeting focuses on the entire last year and our year to come!
We will share a financial overview of our 2025 earnings and expenses, go over our accomplishments since we opened last April, and share our goals for the next year. Additionally, any Committee Chairs and Shop Captains will be able to update you on their specific areas as well.
We will also be having Board Elections and soliciting feedback from our membership. Per our bylaws, you have to be a full member in good standing to run or vote for the board. You must be a sponsored member, or have started your membership before January 23, 2026 to qualify. A reminder, that our youth-access patrons are not full members. All members are encouraged to fill out the survey, so we can best prioritize our improvements in accordance with what our members want. The ballot and the survey will be digital, and will be shared via a blog post here on our website, on our discord server, and will be emailed out to members as well. Voting will be open for one week, ending at 11:59 PM on April 30.
