All about Maker Show and Tells!

At MAKE Roanoke, we want to bring area makers together, members and non-members alike. That’s why we started having community meetings more than a year before we opened our doors. Bringing makers of all crafts and skill levels together to share what they’ve made, to collaborate with each other, and to problem solve using our collective knowledge and experience.

Now, we’re rebranding those meetings!

  • Virtual Community Meetings are being renamed to Virtual Maker Show & Tell

    • These meetings will now be held on the Second Wednesday of each month at 6 PM on Google Meet (no sign in is required!)

  • Community Meetings are being renamed to Maker Meetup and Show and Tell.

    • These meetings are in person on the Fourth Thursday of each month at 6 PM. They’re at our location: 128 Albemarle Ave SE, B, Roanoke VA 24013

    • November and December meetings are moved up to the Third Thursday to accommodate holidays.

The format of these meetings will be the same for now: a brief slideshow with updates on MAKE Roanoke, classes we’re offering and important announcements followed by Maker Show and Tell where anyone can get up and show something they’ve been working on. Whether your project is a 3D Print, a wood working piece, an electronics project, embroidery, a coding project, or any other creative endeavor, it is welcome at MAKE Roanoke’s Maker Show & Tells!

These events are open to the public, you do not need to be a MAKE Roanoke member to attend. This is a great way to connect with your fellow Roanoke makers, to get inspired, collaborate, and share your passion for making! All are welcome!
