To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally announce the results of the recent election for the board members of MAKE Roanoke. The election, held in accordance with the organization’s bylaws, has concluded, and I have conducted a review of the results. I am pleased to share the outcome with you.
The following individuals have been elected to serve as board members with their upcoming terms:
Samantha Sullivan - 2 year term ending May 2028
Nick Dunne - 2 year term ending May 2028
Alex Myers - 2 year term ending May 2028
Samuel Browne - 2 year term ending May 2028
These individuals have been elected by the membership based on their demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of MAKE Roanoke, as well as their vision for the organization’s future. We are confident that their diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives will contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of our organization. They join the existing board as follows:
Chris Santacroce - 2 year term ending May 2027
Matthew Brown - 2 year term ending May 2027
Will Carter - 2 year term ending May 2027
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the candidates who participated in the election process, as well as to the members of MAKE Roanoke who exercised their right to vote. I would also like to thank Max Bareiss who has retired from the board following his 2 year term. Max was instrumental in the founding of MAKE Roanoke, and we are thrilled to have him continue in the leadership positions of Critical Services Chair and Metal Shop Co-Captain.
Sincerely,
Samantha Sullivan
Board Secretary of MAKE Roanoke
