About the event
MAKE Roanoke is hosting a class to teach you Measurement Basics! This class is recommended for people ages 12 and up. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.This class will be taught by Chris Santacroce. It will be taught at Roanoke Public Library Parrot Room on the Second Floor.In this hands-on class you will learn:
Terminology of Accurate and Precise Measurement
Usage of Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges
Conversion between different Units of Measurement
Subsequently, we are planning on offering introductory classes on 3D and CAD design. This class will be a great starting point, where skills acquired in this class will help with tackling more advanced 3D modeling projects.
