You do not need to be a member to volunteer with our classes, events, building, or fundraising committees, or help on space improvement days.
You do need to be a member to serve on our Board, on the Planning Committee, on our Critical Services Committee, or to have access to our social media accounts on the Marketing Committee.
Email the classes committee at classes-committee@makeroanoke.org with what you'd like to teach and your availability. We choose our Classes and Maker Minis once a quarter on the first Monday of these months: March, June, September, December in our Quarterly Class Selection Meeting.
One-off or short-term volunteering opportunities are shared in our Discord using the role @volunteer. You can assign/unassign this role to yourself in the Channels & Roles channel in our Discord.
If you want to join a committee for a more regular volunteer gig, please reach out to us via email or on Discord.
